Step 1: Installing the Parent Installer

This section details the task of parent installer and assumes that you have already installed the model bank pack or working TAFJ environment.

Procedure

1. Create a directory (for example, UD/T24UD) and make use of the same runtime directory by setting the directory path as T24_HOME.
2. Specify the created directory path in the temn.tafj.runtime.directory.current property, which is available in TAFJProperties and install the Parent Installer under it.
3. Set JEDIFILENAME_SYSTEM=SYSTEM in TAFJProperties to release the records.

   The Parent Installer program delegates work (the actual updating process) to a child installer for TAFJ, TAFC, Temenos Transact, etc. Each child installer is defined as a service to the Parent Installer.

   The key in the TAFJProperties file is temn.tafj.runtime.directory.current .

   NOTE: Assume runtime path as temn.tafj.runtime.directory.current= /glodev1/tafj/tafjx01/TAFJ/T24UD
