Prerequisites and assumptions

There are some prerequisites before Relational Replication can be configured, and certain assumptions made in this document.

Prerequisites

Before installing Relational Replication, ensure the following are installed and available.

• The operating system (either Linux v7.x, AIX v7.x or Windows 2016 Standard Edition).
• The database (either SQL Server 2017 or Oracle 12c 12.2.x).
• JDK 1.8.
• JBoss 7.1 EAP / WebSphere 8.5.5.12 or above or WebLogic 12.2.1.3.0 or above.
• Relational Replication (installed and available in Temenos Transact).

• Relational Replication service packs as required for the relevant Temenos Transact release. These are available from Temenos Distribution in the format RelationalReplication-xxxxxx.x.x.zip.

Assumptions

• The Temenos Transact release is based on the client release.

• The TAFJ/TAFC pack is in line with the Temenos Transact Release.

• The Temenos Transact application server is installed and configured with all necessary configurations.

• The Temenos Transact transactional database is installed, a valid user has been created and data has been loaded.

• The Temenos Transact environment has been configured with all TAFJ runtime configurations.
