Overview

XSD events are captured and processed, and metadata and DDLs are generated for replicate tables.

This section covers how XSD captures the event, processes the event, and generates the metadata and DDLs for replicate tables.

The metadata details required for the Relational Replication database creation are passed as XSD events from the Temenos Transact Standard Selection compilation to the Data Framework tooling layer. The Standard Selection compilation logic triggers out XSD events when there are Temenos Transact application definition changes.

The DF part is used to parse the XSD event and to load the Temenos Transact application field information into the Meta Data tables (using DML (INSERT) statements). The metadata tables are stored in a separate table schema in the reporting database.

For each XSD event, DDL statements are generated to create and alter tables in the Relational Replication table schema. In this process, it allows users to delist the Temenos Transact application from RR. It also cleans the tables and metadata information from Relational Replication.
