Data Life Cycle Management
Data Lifecycle Management (DLM) is designed to reduce the size and improve the performance of a transactional Temenos Transact database by moving non-transactional, historical data to a separate Read-Only (RO) database. Temenos Transact Copy and Purge services maintain the movement of data from the LIVE database to RO database depending on the set retention periods. You can optimise the performance of the RO database through the archiving of the historical data.
In DLM Full solution, aged (or non-volatile) data is moved out of the Temenos Transact LIVE database into a second database called data life-cycle management database (DLM DB), using archiving process that can be configured by the bank. This process is called non-volatile data separation and can be used on any archive eligible application in Temenos Transact. This section provides details about the implementation of full solution and enquiries corresponding to the same.
Trickle Feed solution is a technical movement of data from LIVE database system to Data Lifecycle Management (DLM) database to reduce the volume growth in live system and improve memory performance by considerably shrinking Online Transactional Processing (OLTP). This section provides the overview to trickle feed process and corresponding package scripts, implementation details and enquiries.

Multiple Database Access Driver
Direct Connect driver is a middleware component between Temenos Transact and its connecting database. It enables Temenos Transact to send data to and retrieve data from database storage, also enables you to configure and access multiple databases. This section provides the configuration, commands for multiple database access, table querying, transaction in multiple databases, driver environment variables and other important details for the Oracle, MSSQL and DB2 databases.
