Introduction to Payments Integration with EQUENS

This feature provides the interface integration between the Equens clearing house and the bank. It involves consuming or exposing administration and the digital signature messages adhering to the NL Instant Payments scheme.

The interface caters the following JAVA api interfaces message types:

• Digital signature of the messages: All outgoing messages going to the clearing house have to be signed with the bank’s unique digital signature to prove the message origin.
• Administration messages: The administrative messages implements the functionalities to open connection, close connection, answer to heartbeat messages, receive and send network broadcast messages.

The messages transmitted are of the following types:

• Digital signature of the messages:
  • pacs.008 (SCT Inst Bank-to-CSM and CSM-to-bank).
  • pacs.002 (all Negative and Positive confirmations).
  • pacs.004 (SCT Inst Recall positive response bank-to-CSM and CSM-to-bank).
  • pacs.028 (investigations).
  • camt.052 (Reconciliation Cycle Report and Position Account Balance Report).
  • camt.053 (Reconciliation Day Report).
  • camt.056 (SCT Inst Recall bank-to-CSM and CSM-to-bank).
  • camt.029 (SCT Inst Recall negative response).
• Administration messages:
  • Sign-in to the clearing house network and wait for response.
  • Sign-out from the clearing house network and wait for response.
  • Answer any incoming heartbeat message when the system is online.
  • Receive incoming broadcast messages.
