Introduction to User Security and Controls
The User Security and Controls functionality is used to define user limits for both credit & debit transactions to enable the bank define limits based on user roles.
EXAMPLE:
A customer service representative will have lower limits and the branch manager will have higher limits to approve lending and non-lending products for customers.
The functionality available in User Security and Controls is summarized below:
- Parameterisation of user posting limits & override application
- Each user in the bank is assigned with their own limits for both lending and non - lending products
- The limit details are assigned to the User in the fields lending limits & non – lending limits
- Customer service representative will have a lower limit, but the bank manager will have higher limits for all products
- While performing FT and TT transactions, any transaction above the predefined user limit levels will trigger an override message
