Architecture
Digital Banking Platform (DBP) is a purpose built platform to deliver seamless experiences across digital banking applications and channels. It offers a set of comprehensive features to provide a true Digital Banking experience to your customers. DBP enables banks and credit unions to deliver exceptional omni-channel experiences without compromising on agility, security, or flexibility.
DBP is built on Temenos Quantum and provides inbuilt features to enable your digital banking landscape.
Scope
The scope of the digital banking platform architecture includes:
- Client application
- Middleware
- Data
Client Application
Client comprises of Digital Banking Suite, Common Business Object, and Components. There are external third-party applications for integration on parallel level. The client applications are developed using the Model View Controller (MVC) architecture. See Reference Architecture for more information.
Middleware
Middleware comprises of object Services, open rules engine, third-party services and more. The Open APIs expose interfaces for external third-party consumption and connect the middle ware with the client. The integration layer is a conglomeration of various services, such as Transaction Server, and Local services to connect various data access services with the client and middle ware. Data
The Data layer enables access to the local database (also referred to as the Temenos DB), document vault and other third party systems which hold the core banking data.
